Curt Apanovich is a Producer/Director/Editor and Founder of Hieroglyphic Productions; a multiple award winning film and television production company based in Hollywood, California. With a client list including ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, Touchstone, Disney, and more, Hieroglyphic produces and delivers Network quality programming worldwide. Curt started his career in the entertainment industry over 15 years ago, and has been featured on the covers of industry standard POST and MIX magazines, and has been part of several Beta test teams for Audio and Video editing software. Curt started Hieroglyphic Productions in 1998. Initially producing network promotions, Hieroglyphic has since grown its core client list to include almost every major network and motion picture studio in Hollywood. Producing and Directing Hundreds of high profile shoots on 35mm film, Curt moved Hieroglyphic to the forefront of High Definition. With 8 state-of-the-art Edit Bays, 2D & 3D graphic bays, and a full surround-sound mixing suite, Hieroglyphic is constantly on the leading edge of creativity and technology.




Curt is executive Producer of the Award winning Documentary "When Stand-Up Stood Out", chronicling the rise and fall of Stand-up comedy in Boston in the early 80's. Distributed by Think Film, and airing on Showtime Network, "When Stand-Up Stood Out" features Steven Wright, Dennis Leary, Janine Garafolo, Colin Quinn, and several other comedy heavyweights. Curt has also been called on by Boxing legend Muhammad Ali and Hollywood heavyweight Michael J. Fox to produce a series of PSA's for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.




Making a natural transition from Film and Video to Still Photography, Curt's production background, deep understanding of story telling, and creativity also make him one to watch in the Photography Industry, as well as the Merging of the two mediums. Curt is equally comfortable Directing a 50 person crew on a Multi-Million Dollar Commercial shoot, or Photographing a Wedding Couple one-on-one. Teaming up with Celebrity Photographer Robert Evans in 2005, Curt is partner in Robert Evans Studios as well as Engaging Films, and he Photographs High-End Weddings and Events Worldwide. Engaging Films is leading the Photography Industry in the “Photo Fusion” arena. Already producing short Films completely shot on DSLR Technology, the team has also created Photo Fusions for Wedding Clients, and A-List Celebrities such as Christina Aguilera.
